Summary: Very pleasant and modern hotel that firmly deserves its 4 star rating. Staff was very welcoming at all times. Self-serve toiletries works surprisingly well. Breakfast service is excellent and is a must-do at least once on your visit. Only two minor areas of improvement: 1) the self-check in was a little bit frustrating, as we first checked in with the reception staff who ran our passports, confirmed charges, etc., only to then direct us to the Self-serve machines where we then had to do it all over again with a slower software. 2) while the rooms are of average size for Japan standards, we are not a fan of the bed being situated right against the wall, which means one of the occupants has a claustrophobic sleep!
